Straf! School met lef. nominated for the brussels architecture prize 2023
We're very proud to announce that the project Straf! School met lef. - a project that we worked on with our colleagues at AAC - is nominated for the Brussels Architecture Prize 2023.
"The new volumes were modestly integrated into the existing listed structure with a clear distinction between old and new, underlining the existing qualities. The use of a box structure in the existing building, the rhythmic alternation of single- and double-height spaces, and between indoor and covered outdoors. The result is a warm, playful and inviting interior, while respecting the strict symmetry of the existing building," according to the jury.
