Masterplan and buildings for the abandoned Lyceum-site in the city of Tienen
12.600 m2 (130 units)
The design plays a key role in connecting the cityborder and the network of public squares in the centre. Opening the building block to let public space enter the site makes way for new relations and possibilities. A well designed public space adds value, character and accesebility to any project.
The proposed architecture briges the different living-typologies of its neighbours. Houses and apartments are placed in a composition that expresses unity and harmony, without compromising its own distinct identities.
